Rail cars in the Winnfield Area

This is the KCS Southern Bell Observation Dinning car KCS 42 that was located at the mill next to the rock quarey in Winnfield for years. When the mill was sold it was moved to a Georgia-Pacific plywood plant in Gloster, MS where this photo was taken. If you have any photos of it when it was in winnfield please submit them. It was hooked up with AC and kitchen running next to the office and they used to eat lunch in it. This would be one of the cars that ran on the KCS/L&A.

This is a photo of KCS 41 I found at Jackson La.

The musem also has a rail car but I do not yet have a good photo.

LA trails has repainted a Caboose and placed it on the trail at Goldonna La.
